How to run it
Follow these steps after downloading the file. Nothing needs to be installed.
Allow if prompted
If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Start the audit
Read the short screen that appears, then click Start Audit.
Wait briefly
Leave the window open while the scan runs. This usually takes about 30-60 seconds.
Finish
When the confirmation message appears, click OK. Your technician can then review the result.
If Windows shows a warning
You may see a blue screen saying Windows protected your PC. This is not a virus warning. Windows often shows this for new or low-volume software that has not yet built up Microsoft SmartScreen reputation.
- Click More info near the bottom of the blue warning screen.
- Click Run anyway.
- Only continue if you downloaded the file from the WaTo Consulting link above.
What it does
Your privacy is respected. The tool is designed to collect technical audit details only.
It does
- Scan hardware details such as CPU, RAM, disk and graphics.
- Detect your Windows version and basic system settings.
- Check antivirus and security status.
- Send the audit result securely to your WaTo technician.
It does not
- Access your personal files or documents.
- Read emails, photos, browser history or saved passwords.
- Install background software on your computer.
- Store unnecessary personal data.
